In SMP turtles wont compare, turtle.compare(), turtle.compareUp() and turtle.compareDown() allways returns true, even if there is different blocks. But it works in SSP and CSP.

Can anyone confirm this with my backport? And whether it's bukkit or "vanilla" related.

The bugs forum is not for Bukkit/Tekkit issues only vanilla. You will need to work with the person that did the port you are using to get your issues corrected. Read the forum rules before posting.
Bukkit ~= SMP

I just wanted to report that this issue seems to have been resolved for us in 1.33. I am using a bukkit ported mod FWIW and saw this issue with 1.31
