I think turtle.place() with an empty bucket should work with BuildCraft and RailCraft tanks.

Also, yes I know that MiscPeripherals adds some kind of tank turtle but I think it adds too much.

A turtle is able to suck any liquid source block into a bucket in vanilla CC and so IMO it should work whether they be in a tank or not.

Thoughts/opinions?

I am not sure if this should be added, I confess I was dissapointed when I tried it and found that it did not work but if they added it then you could use a turtle and a water farm to fill up a tank in seconds…. seems a little overpowered to me

TE adds such a turtle too.

We did not see yet Turtle after Dan200 fixed some bugs in that part of code. We do not know how well would it work.
Can we see new test build, Cloudy?

I'll have to check out how buckets now work with BC tanks. I'll have to check BC's code to see what it does if it doesn't work.

If you do not want us to test all variants…
Water Bucket, used on RC Hobbyist Engine, fill it's water storage if possible, else opens GUI. How would CC behave itself?

Did you get a chance to check the BC code, Cloudy?
