Getting information from steam websites

I saw someone just bump this thread asking for help and I saw that there was a Steam API and I was like :o/>/> So i tested it but only the getStatus works.

I googled about the Steam API but you need a key to do this and I don't have one and I forgot my login, again -.-

Has anyone made a working steam api to get gamelists/friends of a user?

edit: found my password, but in order to get a key, you need a domain which I don't have.

Any way to actually do this from minecraft?

You need a proxy website. Steam blocks requests if the domain isn't the same as what is associated with the key.
