Can multiple computers with wireless create lag?

Hello,

I have a compound that consists of two towers linked by a bridge with two other buildings on the bridge and one more building on the ground. I have several lights on every buildings (RedPower lamps) and on the walkways. I added a computer to most lamps (sometimes 2 lamps use one computer) and each computer has a wireless modem. That represents about 15 computers and each one is listening on rednet for commands (on startup). One of the building on my bridge acts as a datacenter and one of the server hosts the lightning program. When I run commands on a console it wirelessly sends commands to that server and that server wirelessly sends commands to the computers on the lights, by using specific id for each, no broadcast. It works great and I plan to use that for many other things like my Mass Fabricator, cobblegen, water mechanism and base-wide alarm. I was wondering if this might eventually cause lag because of the amount of computers and wireless signals waiting everywhere.

Thanks.

Having lots of computers running at one time can cause lag, but since the computers are effectively asleep while waiting for a rednet message, they use next to no processing time. So lag will be very very minimal.

I have had about 5000 turtles on my server with rednet listening and no lag till you have them change the floor from cobble to stone brick lol
