BoMC - Bank of Minecraft!

This is a project that I have been working on for the last week.

Bank of Minecraft is a program for inter-server banking. The idea is that no-one can cheat and add money because they don't have the permission to edit the balance of anyone

So, wait. External balances and such are kept on an external server instead of an in-game server? Nice idea.

I still don't see how this is cheat-proof. SOMEBODY must have permission to edit balance so people can actually have money to spend. Even if you can somehow rig it so you must deposit items, it's easy to just spawn items and deposit them. Plus different servers have different economies. Sorry, it's an interesting idea, but I don't really see it serving much use.

Exactly. I was thinking of making something like this a while ago but then I thought it would be super easy to cheat money.

Great idea, but how would it be possible to allow shopkeepers to transfer money to their account if someone buys something without allowing the shopkeeper to fully drain the account?

You could possible make it like real banks (with PINs, chargebacks and shiz like that) but in my opinion it's not worth it. I think you should focus your work on making it only for one server

Alright
Super easy to cheat money
people.
The owner of the server sets up an account and starts buying stuff.
Then, once the account has lots of money, he starts selling.
THAT is the idea.

And how are people going to get money to buy anything from the server owner? How do you make sure only the server owner can do that? HOow do you keep somebody from setting up a temp server, selling stuff, and going to another server to buy? And most importantly… Why do we need inter-server banking?

So? Development is the best time to ask fundamental questions about how a software is going to work, point out fundamental flaws, etc. I'm asking important questions you'll need to answer for yourself if you want it to live up to the ideas in the OP. I do apologize if this bothers you, and I assure it will be the last time I attempt to help you with anything.
