Sleep with function

I am trying to call the sleep function, with a variable.. but I get a error… how do i do this?

the sleep function requires a number. chances are you're not giving it a number.

I would like to apologize, I was in a rush, and I found my error, it was a simple typo… again sorry for taking your time.
