Computers will no longer startup

I am running into a problem where some of my computers will no longer start up automatically unless I click on them. They used to but now they wont. It is playing havoc with my rednet network because it needs those computers to be online or it wont function properly. My best guess is that this problem is being caused by the number of computers I am trying to start at the same time. (~80) Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks

If you shutdown the computer you need to reopen the terminal to start it back up but if you restart the computer it will automatically shutdown and startup.

i am using the startup function to automatically boot computers when I load the world. This is what is not working. Half my computers boot just fine and the other half wont boot at all unless I click on them

The startup program doesn't cause the computers to automatically turn on on world load. It only causes that program to be executed when (and if) the computer is turned on.

Computers should automatically turn on when the chunk they're on is loaded, only if they were on at the time the chunk was unloaded. It is at this point that if they have a startup program, they run that first thing before anything else.

Sometimes they don't turn on, or sometimes they do turn on even if they were left off. Do you have no other way to make your system such that it doesn't break if a computer is off?

none are them are showing too long without yielding.
I can tell they are offline because the rednet modem is not lit. When I click on a computer that was offline it just starts like it should, no error messages.
I am using computercraft with ICBM. The computer on the left side of the launcher is the launch computer and the computer on the right side is the status computer(finds and send missile type, can launch data to the big monitor)

i think it just fixed itself. I have restated the level a couple times and all the computers have started up correctly.

Did you name all your computers? I have this problem too because sometimes unnamed computers change randomly their id - so startup fails!!

naming shouldnt matter
the computer's ID is static aslong as there was a file saved on it

Hmmm - static seems to be a problem for ComputerCraft - i´am using a feed-the-beast modpack, and even named computers
and turtles changed their id recently - or transform from wireless mining turtle to basic turtle after a MC-crash! Magic ????
