Turtle Disappears

I tried searching to see if this was a known issue or not, but only thing I could find in regards to turtles disappearing did not seem to relate to my issue.

Anyways, I have a wireless mining turtle made with a sapphire pickaxe (MiscPeripherals installed) and it is running this program

Advanced Programs: OreFinder, Tunnel by Henness.

Unfortunately, everytime I shutdown minecraft and continue the program, the turtle just completely disappears the moment I tell it to continue its job. No matter where it is, be it next to my ender chest, or down a hole where it digs, the very second I click the programs option to 'continue', the turtle just vanishes. I have had this happen before and was forced to make a new turtle and transfer all it's files over to the new one. I have also, since, started placing the turtle down in creative mode, and then switching back to survival, so a copy of the turtle will be placed. The biggest problem with this issue, is I am losing a lot of materials when these turtles disappear, which includes not only what it dug up, but also the blocks that is uses to ignore and the stack of Coal Coke that was used for it's fuel (which, as anyone with Railcraft knows, is not easy to make, though I am using creative mode to spawn in replacements since, in my opinion, this is a bug).

Any and all help in figuring out why this is happening will be very much appreciated.

Thanks.

Hmm. That sounds more like a bug with miscperipherals than anything else. You might want to report this to Richard.
