First off, I don't have my code with me right now because my wife is using the computer with my Minecraft stuff. But I want to know if there is a way for a Turtle to detect lava while mining in the nether. I am having it dig an 8x8 square all the way down but it keeps running into lava, I tried a lava bucket but it still doesn't detect it. I know i'm a noob but please help?

Turtles can only compare blocks. Not the items that blocks turn into. You could try getting a bucket and seeing if it fills up.
