Is there any way to download and listen music with computercraft? Or even add custom sounds to a game or a program?

Nope (apart from noteblocks, but that's lame - it's like MIDI). If you mean MP3 and musics like that, totally nope. And don't suggest it in "Suggestions", the mods don't quite like it.
EDIT: Actually, you can play the original Minecraft CDs with disk drives (you know, C418 tracks), but that's all.

I'm pretty sure the main reason is that it breaks the fourth wall pretty hard, and doesn't make sense in general. If you want to listen to music, open up your media player.

This is denied because it does not fit with the mod. If you want additional sound support, there are peripherals for that.

Get Immibis's Peripherals. It has a speaker. It can't play mp3s or anything, just square waves.

Use Immibis' Peripheral's speaker, you can create tones with it. Either that or use IC2 alarms.I just want to make an alarm sound. What can be done?

i dont even, what?talk about Minecraft using even more resources than it doens't need to!
why would you stream either?
its much much more efficient to send a compressed file for a couple seconds than send a constant crappy quality stream

So, it's another mod and i'm on tekkit lite. can i get it in tekkit lite?Get Immibis's Peripherals. It has a speaker. It can't play mp3s or anything, just square waves.

Good job bringing back a dead thread to tell us about a NEW feature in MC that didn't exist when we were discussing in this one…. *bad reububble* don't revive dead threads! Granted you did add some useful(ish) info, but attempt to leave the dead rest at all times…-snip-
