are there any programs that dig a horizontal shaft? I have enough of the mats that appear lower down and I need boatloads of base metals (iron, copper, tin)

edit: i now realize theyre called "tunnels"/

are there any with auto torch placement?

Yes, there are many, many of these programs in the Turtle Programs subsection. Did you try looking there?
