Installing With The New Launcher

Title: Installing With The New Launcher

I've been using one of the previous version of CC for over a month now, and because only 1.6.1+ has the capabilities that I need, I have found myself searching for how to get the freaking mod to work with it.

I realise that you need Forge, I have forge. The most up to date version I could get and it successfully installed.

I realise that I need the newest version of CC and MC (duh) :P/> and yes I'm using 1.6.2 MC and have downloaded the newest CC from the News tab up ^top^.

In this tab I found the help that would have normally made sense to me.
I quote " drop ComputerCraft1.56.zip into your /mods/ directory"
In previous versions of MC and MCForge I have seen this directory before, but it's not there this time. There's the new 'Versions' directory but no sign of 'Mods' or anything that may be a replacement directory.

I might just be missing something, I've been out of the whole process ever since I started using MultiMC, which actually doesn't let me move onto 1.6.1


Obviously SOMEBODY must have already done the installation process so that SOMEBODY can tell me exactly what I need to do to get CC working nicely again :D/> (pretty please)

I'll solve your problem.

You probably must have forgotten to open up the forge enabled 'version' through the minecraft launcher. After you have logged in again and clicked the play button through that profile you should have the mods folder.

P.S, If you're wondering why I am you, you are correct. I am future you, you are past me. I am the Reububble who has gone through the 'try all the things' stage and successfully done the thing. Now You may just pretend you never had this problem, but allow for others to learn from your mistakes. Kbye
