Bug in monitor computer interaction

I'm playing on the version of CC used in Tekkit Classic, and I have a large monitor displaying the rules of our server. I have the rules file run by the startup program, and it seems to be working. However, when I leave the chunk or restart the server, upon returning, the screen is black. THE WEIRD PART IS, I do not have to rerun any programs to get it to display again. All I have to do is break one of the monitors, and replace it, and it puts the file back on screen. That leads me to believe the startup program is working, and the file IS being displayed on the monitor, but for some reason the monitor isn't displaying it unless I break and replace one of the monitors. wtf.
I can show a staff member what I'm talking about in-game if further explanation is needed. Please help, this is one of the few things remaining before our server can be launched. Thanks-

You mention Tekkit Classic. You're saying that you're on 1.2.5? And on a bukkit server? You won't find much help here if that's the case.

My only purpose in mentioning that was to provide the information that I'm dealing with CraftOS 1.3. Can you not help with 1.3?

Well, we definitely can't help with code you haven't posted. If it turns out to not be an issue with the code, there isn't anything we can do aside from urge you to update.
