After browsing a large amount of topics, I want to make a peripheral that adds in touchscreen panel-like things, however, I have a question.

Is it possible, since the adv. monitors have clicks, to simply duplicate the code from a touchscreen, make a new block, and use some of the monitor textures?

If not, any other ideas? Also, I hate makin posts on my iPod (sorry, off topic XD)

I assume you could, it's just that you'd need to copy all the referenced code as well. This could result in a lot of copying and I'm not sure you'd be allowed to do this. Are you considering releasing as a stand alone peripheral? At the very least you could take Dan200's code and learn from that, either by refractoring of the code or to get an idea of how the code interacts with mouse interaction or the likes of that.
