Every time I run the program I get 204

Example:
> alarm –me runnning the command
204 –the response

What I am trying to do with the program:
I am trying to set up an alarm system with multiple types of signals( like one long beep, short beeps, etc.) with immibis's peripherals speakers over a wired network. (using wired modems and cables) that will set off when I press any alarm buttons

EDIT: Problem Solved,
All it required was a few cups of coffee and changing random bits of code until it worked.
