okay, this is a dumb question but VERY important to my build. On the CC wiki, it says that a maximum of 128 rednet channels can be open at one time. What I am asking is, is that per modem, or in the entire world? basicly, a modem could have channels 1-128 open, could another modem have channels 129-256 open at the same time? Please help! Thank you!

Per modem. If you need more than that open, you're probably doing something wrong or trying to accomplish something silly anyway. :P/>

Have you read Kingdaro's modem tutorial?
Kingdaro said:
Yep. You can have up to 128 channels open on one modem.

I personally never go above 64, but yes, 128 is the limit. I tested it out before knowing it.

It's per modems, so with a computer with modems on all it's sides, you can have a total of 768 (6*128) channels open simultaneously.
