When I try to access a computer I get a error that says:
Error mounting lua/rom.
Check you have installed ComputerCraft correctly.

I've checked that I have installed that the lua/rom file is there

mods/ComputerCraft1/assets/computercraft/lua/rom

I'm sure that I have installed it correctly, I've got Forge 1.6.4, and have installed the mod correctly.

Can anyone help me resolve the issue?

You have not installed the mod correctly. When you download ComputerCraft, it is in a zip file. You have extracted the contents of the zip file into a folder named "ComputerCraft1". Delete this folder, and place the zip file you downloaded into the mods folder directly, without unzipping it. If you are on a Mac and browse with Safari, it is unzipping the file for you to try to be "helpful". You need to use the zip file directly instead of allowing it to be unzipped.

Dude, the fact that you can call that error out is impressive, most impressive. Nice answer.
