help making ascii art

hi i am trying to make an ascii art but for some reason i can not use the \ as it wont appear when i start it

can anyone explain why and if there anyway to be able to use it

The character is the escape character, so you have to put 2 of them: "" that will make a string containing "" (just one).

Since your problem is solved, may you add "[Solved!]" or something similar to the thread title?
