Hello!
When a turtle attacks, does it count as a player kill or not? I mean, if a turtle kills a blaze, is there a blaze rod will spawns?
Thank you in advance! ^^

You mean, will it attack a player too? if so then yes. You should stay out of it's way.

Certain mobs only drop certain items if a player killed them, as opposed to, say, a drowning trap. This is "intended" to limit automated item spawning. He's wondering if turtles count as players for the purposes of mob drops.
I'm not certain off the top of my head. I'm fairly sure it used to be the case that turtles would trigger special drops, but I dunno if that's true now.

From what I've seen that, I believe it drops the normal drops, but only some rare. In saying that it could be a difference in mods. As a lot of people know you can make mob farms using turtles and collect there drops. I've seen turtles grab items such as their normal drops and drops such as miniature hearts from tinkers, as well as necrotic bones. Where the turtles would not drop the shard of minium from EE3. So I think it can do some rare drops but not others. If anything it could be how the two mods handle there events and not CC.

My turtle will attack a vanilla monster, you know, a good old blaze. Remember, it isn't added by a mod.
Lol, I think the best way will be testing that by myself. Thank you for your responses. ^^

I know that… I'm saying some mobs will drop there items, and some that are added by mods won't.
