I can’t access menu!

So I played some computer craft today, I’m playing it on mac. When I do >edit startup I got into the edit screen and it says Press Ctrl to access menu. But when i try hit control (bottom left corner) it does nothing! Can anyone help me?

Try the other ctrl(command, maybe, I dunno Mac.) and if that doesn't work, make sure the window is in focus.
