I have a start up script inside my computer but i noticed that when the chunk unloads and i reload it the computer doesn't automatically start back up i have to right click on the computer and go inside it before the start up script will run. Is there any way to get around having to right click the computer for it to automatically start up?

The filename is 'start up' or 'startup'
The 'startup' works the 'start up' no.

@Konlab & @CCGrimHaxor - that's not the problem UmbraCharon is having, you might want re-read the OP. UmbraCharon is experiencing a known issue in previous ComputerCraft versions that has to do with computers not automatically booting when a chunk is loaded.
@UmbraCharon, fwiw, I've experienced this, too, but I don't remember seeing the problem in 1.58. It was my understanding that dan200 had fixed the problem by 1.58, but I may be incorrect. Lyqyd definitely knows more about this than I do, so I'll defer to him.

I had this problem in the MC 1.7 beta too. I wasn't sure if that was something I just never noticed before though.
