Background Time Problem

Well, Im trying to make a program that runs a menu on a pocket computer and have it where you can select what you want to do. Like a personal pda. But I want to have the current minecraft time in the bottom right corner. But still be able to input what I Want like typing e for exit and then pressing enter. I have the time program I just need to now how to run it on the right corner. And so far I have it running on a separate tab but as you know by now I want it running in the corner. :)/>
