When I try to use the pushItem function from Openperipherals with factorization barrels it doesn't push the items. I don't think I am doing anything wrong. Has anyone else had this problem? Also does anyone know to fix this. I am playing using factorization 08.34,computercraft 1.58 and openPeripheral 0.3.3
Thanks

The Bugs section is for ComputerCraft bugs only. To report problems with other mods you must report them on the mods peripheral page, since the OpenPeripheral thread is now locked you must report them over at the GitHub issue tracker or on the #OpenMods irc channel; be aware when reporting you must be able to replicate it with the most recent version, 0.3.3 is very out-of-date!

But I'll tell you right now, this most likely isn't a bug, but in fact you just using the very confusing function incorrectly. As such this thread will be removed to Ask a Pro shortly.

Factorization barrels can only push down IIRC and I think you push from slot 0

Without OpenPeripheral, a turtle needs to move under the barrel to be able to suck from it. With OpenPeripheral, the barrel can be made to push items to the turtle in any direction.

For JABBA barrels or MFR Deep Storage Units this is correct, but not for Factorization barrels, they retain their directionality when accessed with OpenP, and the slot number the inventory can be interfaced with is 2, not 0, my bad

This may be version dependent. I've run a turtle-based storage system around Factorisation barrels and had no problems pushing in other directions.

Fair enough. I tested it before posting that to check I wasn't being stupid and whatever version ships with Techworld 2 and monster is only an up/down io
