Hello fellow CC users, I'm a newbie when it comes to ComputerCraft and I've only started playing around with it today.
I've noticed that there are a few chat programs that allow you to talk to your friends in a server from one computer to another computer using wireless modems.

So my question is;
Is it possible to create a chat program that will allow you to send messages to other computers on a diffrerent server?

I was wondering this because i know that you can access the internet in a way to pastebin.
So i thought it should be possible to connect to a server hosting a chatroom on the internet and recieve and send messages.

Yes and no. Yes it is possible, you can just send the messages to the web server. However the problem comes about when trying to notify all the chat clients of a new message, since ComputerCraft http cannot make use of ports this would not be reliably possible, you'd have to make some form of refresh that queries for new messages, which is not exactly ideal, you should be trying to avoid spamming http.
