is there any way to detect how many mb are in a portable tank? (thermal expansion)

Depending on your mod cocktail (and the versions in use), typically OpenPeripherals or OpenCCSensors will have what you want. See here for more on peripheral use in general.

as far as i know.. OPenperipherals havent updated their API's for thermal expansion yet (not in the current version of DW20 (1.0.2))
im using openCCSensors for my tank monitors, and having a hard time getting them to work as I want them to :D/> hehe
but for showing the content, and how much, CCsensors Work perfectly.
