How do I create the peripheral thingy with modems on turtles? Is the same as a computer?

Wireless or Wired? You can not use wired with turtles. You can either equip the wireless modem with turtle.equipLeft() or turtle.equipRight(). You can also use a crafting table by placing the turtle in the center slot and placing the modem to the right or left of the turtle. Its identicle to the way you would equip say a Pickaxe.
The code to use the modems(once physically attached) is the same on both.
