First off, let me tell you that I am no programmer. All I know is that I have custom npc mod installed and I wanted to try and script something for the npc's but that mod only has javascript support per default. The mod maker says on the mod's webpage that you can add luaj-jse-3.0.jar to the mods folder to enable lua support. I want to do this because computercraft also uses lua, and thus I can make it easier for myself and skip learning javascript as well, and just focus on lua for now.

However, when I add this file to the mods folder the server doesnt want to start, it gives an computercraft error and shuts down. I dont remember the error right now, I can fish it up tomorrow after work, just thought someone might know why this fails without knowing the error it gives.

It would likely be better to direct your question to the creator of the custom NPC mod you're trying to use.

To be clear on this, are you saying that ComputerCraft + luaj-jse-3.0.jar results in a crash, regardless as to whether the custom NPC mod is installed?
