IRC with Json api

I was wounderring if this was posible with the json api to get the Twtich irc to computer craft monitor 3x5

I found this streamer that made a program that shows how many viewer were in his chat and followers when live so i was thinking why can't you make a irc reading program that shows you the chat on a monitor

that might work ill check it out

I'm not sure about the twitch chat having an IRC-"interface". So you might just use the http(s)-api of computercraft to download the page contents, that inform you about the current viewer count.
