Does the 1.7.10 version of minecraft work with Minecraft 1.8?

I have finally been allowed to install ONE mod, I chose ComputerCraft!!!
But, I have the 1.8 version of mine craft…
Does the latest 1.7.10 version of ComputerCraft work with 1.8???

Nope. You'll have to set up a 1.7.10 instance and install Forge on that, then add ComputerCraft.

What do you mean? Why have you not been allowed to install any mods before? :P/>
Anyway, as Lyqyd clearly said it won't work, you'll have to wait until Dan updates the mod for 1.8 or use an older version of Minecraft, I'd suggest using MultiMC so you can easily manage multiple instances, it makes it easier with the whole installing-mods process, as you don't have to install forge manually etc.
