MFR rednet cable not working. Alternative?

Im trying to make a system where the computer can open different doors depending on the command. Rednet cables are not working. Is there an alternative?

Absolutely. The Project Red bundled cables work very well, and if you combine it with Chickenbones' wireless redstone, you can have unlimited range.
