turtle and computer whont boot automaticaly

i am currently making a reproducing turtle mining facility.

My only problem is booting a turtle or computer when placed next to a disk drive, without user interaction.
Since it automaticaly wait for user interaction before booting i cannot add more turtles to my workforce automaticaly :P/>/>

any suggestions?

Use the peripheral API to call the turnOn method with another computer.

i feel rather stupid now.. i've spend over an hour looking at java code and you tell me it's this simple?
