While I know I'll almost definitely just get rejected on this, I'll ask anyhow. Could there ever be a way to bind a computercraft computer to a VMware NIC or something similar at a "virtual physical layer" (a bit contradictory I know). I don't know of any way to trick a VMware script into using HTTP to send/recv as if it were a NIC. I believe something like this could however be achieved in a Linux environment running VMware with a NIC setting to an external file for the network stack. Anyways just curious to see if anyone ever thought of something like this.
