Pausing Parallel

I am trying to make a piece of code that is running a file, and when you press the Control button, it would pause it. And when you press it again, it will resume, and ideas how?

Have a look at how the multishell program works you basically want to add your pause functionality to where it forwards events to the running program. You can rip out the bit where it allows multiple running programs (which, at a guess, should be in the same area)
