The "edit" command not work

On my computer in CCEmuRedux
doesn't work the edit command
shows only:
CraftOS 1.7
>edit startup
for input string: "888888888888888888eee"
>

I would guess you've already created a startup file, and whatever you've coded into it is leading to the error. Try simply removing it (eg "rm startup") and rebooting the system.

If you're certain this isn't your fault, you're probably better off asking in the CCEmuRedux thread. Be specific about what led to the problem and what you've done to attempt to resolve it.
