I know about printers and such how they can print text but i was wondering "Can they print images too?"
Can printers print images?

Not easily. IIRC, you can only use one color of ink at a time.

Printing pictures with printers is much like displaying pictures on screens. Both only support text and backgrounds for the 'text cell'.

Printers do not allow you to change the background color, only the text color.

See, ComputerCraft displays can only show text, and the same is true for printers. Images shown on a CC monitor are usually just coloured spaces (you can change the foreground and background colours of each character you write), but all spaces you send to a printer come out white…
The expanded character set available under MC1.8+ somewhat makes up for this - characters 8, 127, 143 or 159 could be used to create somewhat acceptable looking images. Under earlier builds, I suppose @ symbols would probably look best, I guess?

What would be helpful if there was a full character that you could use as pixels on a printer.
