Stuck with openperipheral bridge

Hello, I stepped away from computercraft for a while (to try out some other mods but now im back and i found an issue)

I made a computer, attached it to an openperipheral bridge and typed in a few things but they dont show up.
It gives me the table with an address so the block is connected, and i right-clicked the glasses onto the bridge.
This all leads me to believe it should work. I have tried googling this and found the same thing being done on the wiki and on youtube…
But for some reason in my singleplayer it doesnt work at all.

If anyone knows how or why it isnt working please do let me know. It would be appreciated a lot.
I will keep looking in the meantime…

Edit: Forgot to mention I am running on Resonant rise 3.4.0.3 for MC 1.7.10

IIRC you have to call glass.sync() or something similar for changes to actually be rendered.

oh my, yeah that seems to have fixed it…
