hi was wondering if you can make notes then save then to the computer that you are on

You could just create a new file (edit *yourFileName*) and save the notes in there. A file doesn't have to be a program.

I create a new directory called "storage"
Just make sure nothing in there is a program so you don't accidently run a note, not that it will harm your computer. You can always add .txt onto the end.
