Trying to modify startup >> 9: Access denied

Whenever I try to modify startup file (rom/startup) to make authentication script, it tells me that I have no access..

How can I fix this? It's my private server (friends-only) and no one can modify startup.

You can't modify it in-game. It's ROM (read-only-memory)

You can edit /startup though, that's the computer-specific startup.
