I am having re-installation issues

I had computercraft on tekkit (yes i know, bad) and now i am trying to install it onto normal minecraft.

I downgraded to 1.2.5 and attempted to install computercraft and forge as it said on the computercraft forum thread - but it didn't work. it kept going to the MOJANG and then going whitescreen.

Help Please!

Did you install the correct forge version? And did you delete the META-INF folder inside the minecraft jar?

Make sure you download Forge for 1.2.5 (so not the reccormended/latest version)
