I have computercraft and buildcraft installed on my server. Is there any way I can make a script that will turn off the redstone from powering the engines if the engines get overheated?

Not at the moment. There's a peripheral called CCSensors which may be able to do this, but it's not released yet.

Yes, I believe this is one of the reasons it was being created.
