how to get Twitch.tv info

i want to know how i would get if someone is livestreaming or not for example if i dcleondc was livesteaming how would i get the computer to use the http api to pull ever 5mins or so if im livestreaming.

You would probably have better luck pulling from a twitter feed or something simpler. That way, you can listen for keywords, and then notify you on a hit.

Twitch.tv has a API that you can use to pull info then just pull the info using the HTTP API then display them.

No idea…. I just Googled for a bit to find Twitch.tv's API.
