[Java] Minecraft Launcher

Probably not the best place..

Currently making a "community" client (GUI and small, non gamechanging edits) for a community, but as is, requires usere to manually update. Anyone know either how to edit the launcher to use the dropbox link or the ckient to check for updates before launching?

MC1.3.2, mcp is up to date, using Notepad++ to edit

I was planning on using pastebin for that. Setup a file on there that simply contains the current rev. Download it and compare its contents against a var in the update program if they match do nothing if they dont update.
