My input screen for all of the programmable objects is black and it won't take input. PLEASE HELP!!

Even after replacing a computer, you can't type anything at all? That has to be an error with your files ._. reinstall tekkit.

No, you don't need tekkit, he just assumed that you where using it.
If you extracted the zip, make sure to name the folder ComputerCraft (without the version number). Or just put the zip in the mods folder, without extracting it.

Lol derp, I meant minecraft. I said tekkit because I use it xD Do what MysticT said and if I'm not mistaken, you need Minecraft Forge if you have the latest version of CC
