Hi, I'm not completely sure if this is the kind of topic you guys usually help with, but I've tried to find a solution for about 4 hours and this is the closest I could get to. I don't know if the problem lies with Minecraft Forge or ComputerCraft, but here it is:

I follow all instructions for installing Minecraft Forge, like deleting META-INF and pasting the files. Minecraft shows no change, I believe this is normal.
I then copy and paste the contents of ComputerCraft into the newly created minecraft zip folder.
I open Minecraft, and find that none of the crafting recipes work.

Also, I'm not sure if you're supposed to delete the original Minecraft jar file once you've made the zip, I've tried both ways. Without deletion, nothing happens out of ordinary Minecraft. With deletion, the loading bar upon opening Minecraft stays frozen at 'Done Loading'.

I have viewed multiple discussions of the 'Done Loading' problem, as well as Minecraft Forge and ComputerCraft not working. I have tried reinstalling the .minecraft folder, roughly 10 times now. I have updated Java, used 7-zip, and installed ModLoader before installing Minecraft Forge, to no effect.

I am inclined to think my computer is cursed. Please help.

I think you're doing something terribly wrong here.
Why do you have a minecraft zip?
And why are you even considering deleting the jar?

Install Minecraft Forge in the Minecraft.jar, then create a folder "mods" in the .minecraft directory, place computercraft.zip in there. See how that works, also, I haven't heard of a Minecraft.zip file.Another thing is; when you delete the Minecraft.jar file and try to load the game, it stops at the done loading position, because it can't load something that isn't there. That is why that would happen to you.
