Save Screen and edit it?

I am thinking on making a game. But I want to save the screen that it is displaying, and edit it a little bit. I am unsure how to do this. If anyone knows, Please help me.

you need to create your own term api with its own table or something to store the data and render from :/
check on the forum for some recording programs, that might help
