how to implement the 'compare()' function on minecraft 1.1?

is there a way to implement those on minecraft 1.1? because the mods i used is mostly compatible with 1.1 that is why i dont upgrade to 1.2+.. i tried to add the new rednet function 'rednet.isOpen()' and it worked fine so i guess there is a way to implement turtle functions too..

Nope, the turtle stuff needs hardcoded.
