Peripheral for "clicking" on monitors?

Just a small curiosity. I'd heard of the touch pen, but that doesn't send "mouse_click" events, nor is it updated. I'd like to be able to use my mouse-based calculator on a monitor.

Is there a peripheral that allows you to register click events on monitors? Or is it a default behavior?

Well there is no peripheral as of right now that gives the user the ability… but I do like the idea and I also believe that it is possible.

I imagined it's been suggested a billion times, and that someone was already working on it.

If not, someone please work on it. (And move this topic since it'll probably inevitably become a suggestion instead of a simple question. :/ )

Well maybe I'll make that my next peripheral project. Sounds like it could be pretty useful. I feel like this should be included in vanilla ComputerCraft though.

I do too. Maybe even without a sort of pen, just being able to right-click the monitor.

I will be eternally grateful if you actually make this, though. ;)/>/>

Yeah, if advanced computers have click support, why not advanced monitors?
