Restart a turtle program

Hi,

I just started to use computer craft and I don't know anything about the lua.
My question is, is there a way to prevent that when you quit minecraft and there is a program running the program is reset when you relog? Like a restart command….

The most you can do is name the program "startup" so that it loads when you load the world. From what I've been told, that starts the script again from where it stopped, but I'm not 100% sure.
