Hello there. I am wondering something. Can a turtle know when wheat is fully grown or not? Like if it has its inventory slot selected on a slot that has wheat in it, and it checks below it (where the wheat is growing) and the wheat is fully grown, will it know that it is fully grown? And same with seeds, if it has it selected in a slot with seeds and it is told to check below it and the wheat is not fully grown, will it know that its not fully grown? Or will it just not know what it is?

From what I know it will always return false in every situation you have listed.

Maybe you could worldedit in the item form of fully grown crops and give it to the turtle to compare with the planted crop. Unfortunately, the vanilla /give command won't give you the crops with a metavalue, so you'll have to use worldedit to try it out.

Harvest it and see if you get wheat from it. That's the only way to know, at least without a peripheral.
