have you tried updating your forge? try a new empty instance 'cos I know that works

Here's my process:
1. Create new instance
2. Use MultiMC's built-in feature to download MC Forge 6.5.0.481
3. Add Computercraft 1.48.zip to mods folder
4. Launch Minecraft
5. ????
6. Crash.

that worked 100% for me…. something wrong with your system. update MMC and Java, test with an older version of forge and CC… very strange

Well, unlucky for me, files.minecraftforge.net is down, so the /lib files won't even download at this time.

I just coppied the /lib files from another instance then I put ComputerCraft in the /mods folder. After that, guess what? It worked. Weird… Crisis averted! I actually had to make a new MultiMC folder though… Also, Happy Christmas or what ever you celebrate!
